                              You are overlooking the key element in this situation. Luke has never backed down. He goes for the truth. If he makes a mistake in judgment or if the facts get twisted, he admits it.

                              Luke's First Amendment rights are being eliminated. He has the right to report his stories. Up until this time, Lensman has welcomed his reporting and his writing. A big high profile attorney enters the picture and free speech is squelched.

                                          Everyone wr!tes better than Duck, lol! Before he changed it, he even misspelled "reamed" in his own resignation letter! And he's added to it since he "quit".

                                          His "column" consist of little else than cut and pastes of other's words or boring narcissist rants about his personal life. I have no idea how accurate his "stories" are about the video side, but his accusations on the online side of adult are almost always wrong and only part of the story.

                                          Personally I hope Lensman DOES keep him here - better that then having him wandering aimlessly around the internet spewing his garbage!

                                                                                      There's a certain group of people in this business who are basically thugs, such as AVN and a certain bald program owner and some other people who want to try to bully and threaten people when they see something they don't like. Luke never backed down from any of them and I liked that.

                                                                                      However, I don't think there's enough hard news or enough of an audience wanting hard news in this biz to make it profitable or worthwhile to publish an actual independent news periodical. In this business, you go along to get along and that's the bottom line.

The proof that he was aware of this is that he said, "I do not want this on Adultbeat." He would not have bothered saying this if he had the presumption the call was completely private.

                                                                                                              "Off the record" is a contract that must be agreed to by all parties involved. One party cannot unilaterally declare anything is "off the record" and expect that to be binding if the other party does not agree.

I think the tape could have been used in court under *special circumstances* to prove the defendant was a liar.

                                                                                                                                                  Different states have different laws, In GA you can record someone w/o telling them if you are the other party. In addition, when someone leaves a message on an answering machine, they KNOW they are being recorded, don't they? They have therefore consented to being recorded.

He just wanted things done a certain way which wasn't acceptable to LF. As owner of GFY and AdultBeat.com, he has the final decision.

More respect for Miss GFY contestants and female posters on GFY...thank you Lensman.
