Because he didnt have insurance. he was driving a uhaul truck, and I did get the maximum that uhaul has to pay for liability, which was $15k in Nevada. But I had to fight for it, so I got $9k after the attorney got his share. Plus it took over a year to get it.
He is a total loser, and has no assets to attach or even a job, so no wages to be garnished. Suing him would just be a waste of time and money, and cause more aggravation and stress.
It always seems like the criminals have more rights than the victims. At least in california, he would have gotten 20 years for this being his third felony. But not the case in Nevada.
