I goto a salon for my hair, I use gell, and yes I use conditioner.. I don't get my eyebrows plucked and I don't get manicures. Only reason I would get a manicure is if I worked in a real business setting and needed to keep my appearance to a higher standard.
I dress sharp, I have to hunt around for my cloths, and yes, I fucking hate shopping. I match colors on my cloths so I don't look like a fucking idot walking down the street.
My house is spotless and it damn well better be I pay the bitch $60 a week to keep it that way.
I do this so I don't look like southern white trash. When I walk into a meeting with whom ever, I want to be taken seriously. Dressing like I have no care and my hair not being done sure isn't going to help me with this.
