Check the registry, autoexec and config files for the suspect .exe file and "rem" it out or type a semi-colon at the begining of the line with the .exe file that's giving you drama...

Just my two cents but if you're doing what most of my friends do...STOP downloading free spyware and shit from the internet...!!!!!

Good luck if all else fails use selective backup to backup the drive then fdisk the friggin' harddrive...
