I remember when that happened in the 80s. The video cuts out the stuff before the suicide. If I remember correctly, this politician was accused of corruption (or something similar) and he called a press conference. The room was packed with reporters. In front of him was a large manila envelope. He talked for a while, said he was sorry and then pulled a handgun out of the folder. People screamed and shouted.
