HAHA thats ok. It seriously does make me proud of my country!
Its a good movie but historically in-accurate. The scottish should of been wearing full armor when they fought. The kilt wasn't even invented yet. Then the Battle of Sterling was supposed to be at a bridge. The british got wasted cause the bridge nullified their numbers. Then when Wallace lost he wandered Europe for a few years.
But in the end nobody cares. It was an excellent movie
One of my all time favorite films also. It's hard to believe people really lived in such a brutal way though. The English were quite sadistic when it came to toruring people that didn't go with the program.

The English haven't changed
I watched Braveheart tonight as well, first time I've seen it for years. I did feel pretty proud during it
I have to go to Scottland, I have this Braveheart fantasy. So if you have a broad sword (he, he), a horse and a kilt, let me know.

He is hiding in Colombia and never paid the settlement $ from our divorce!
I got on a scottish movie kick when Braveheart and Rob Roy were out at about the same time... i saw each of those a bunch of times. Totally different films, but both so amazing.

LOL thats wrong the scots actually fought naked alot of the time , and the battle grounds were marshy, they used to actually run at there enemy naked in body paint and would scare the shit out of them LOL

Horse? Broadsword?
More like beer can & crash helmet...
Oh and dont forget to put a babelfish in your ear so you can translate the accent.
i always found it overrated but still not horrible.
However, I worked in a cinema in the States when it came out and we had one English guy working with us. I felt bad for him because everytime people came out and heard his accent he got the dirtiest looks.

Good, I think that was partly the aim of the movie. People in Europe (and Western nations) take their countries and heritage for granted. People fought and died for what we have, yet people are so quick to sell it out today. Fight for your nation, culture and future I say.

Saw that movie, I have it on DVD its fucking great!
I think my eyes have just about recovered from watching it last night, some films you can't help but cry when you watch them, this is one of those movies. I cried solid from when Wallace gets captured to when he was beheaded and when they killed his wife too.
