reputable ones? Not to many. I suggest if your having debt issues is to use your leverage as the debtor. Being in the mortgage biz I have heard many horror stories of folks using these companys and relying on them to make "your" payments every month. Have seen thousands of credit reports in my years and hundreds of people who though everything was ho-hum as they sent the cash to a debt consolidator but they failed to make "your" payment as they promise. Shit hits the fan when you see 4 of your creditors with 30,60,90 day lates cause you thought the consolidation company was making "your" payments. My advice is to use your leverage with who you owe money. After all, all they want is your money and will work with you, when push comes to shove.
