                                                                                              If you're really looking for a car to drive for just a year, get a VW Corrado SLC, way cheaper than a Golf (they made them until '95), yet alot faster and fun to drive.
                                                                                              If you're into modifications get a G60 version, cheaper and more tuneable (less money for better performance). Alot power from a 1,8L engine.. Some pics here:
