I used to do it. For all-female as well as mixed classes. It's no big deal, really...when people are drawing, they're looking at you technically, as an object. The worst thing about it isn't being naked, it's the actual posing...it's damned hard work. A session is usually an hour, and you won't believe the aches and pains you get for sitting or standing absolutely still (usually in a ridiculous position) for that amount of time. And the pay was shit as well.

Heh, if you ever have the misfortune of getting an erection while posing for an art class, you'll remember it forever as the most embarassing moment of your life. They're not there for sex, they're there to draw.
LOL, I'd love to watch you trying to keep it up with 20 art students pointing at you and laughing.
Seriously, when I modeled I was scared shitless of getting an erection. What I described above actually happened to some guy who also thought his virility would impress everyone. My girlfriend was an art student, and this model arrived and stood there with an erection...everyone started s******ing, finally they were howling with laughter, and the lecturer asked him to leave and never come back. He actually left the university as well shortly afterwards, he was ridiculed wherever he went on campus.
I posed for a friend artist once... she was going to pose for me so I supposed it was only fair ;)
I've painted many nudes and have never seen a guy get an erection... I bet they wack off first though ;) Really I don't see the big deal about an erection though -- seems to me only a childish person would laugh... Our professors were very respectful of the models...
I was actually in an art class the other day and proceeded to disrobe...then the teacher maced me and told me to stay the fuck away from junior high schools....
I wasn't really asked to do it, but you know...the insinuation was there...for the record, I didn't sprout a nudger.....I'm a professional......
