ELISA is simply not as reliable of a test. Its somewhat the difference between old 90s DNA testing and todays mitochondrial DNA tests.

you cannot work in LA with just an ELISA test. it has been that way for YEARS, PCR DNA tests only. PCR DNA deals with a deeper test method and is much more accurate, again without going into scientific terms...
