Stupid ass local airport that was doing direct flights announced it is stopping the service begining jan 3rd. Lot of fucking help that is, they say I will get a refund in 6-8 weeks for my tickets.
So instead of a quick 2 hour flight, I have the choice of a 3-4 hour drive to Sac, then a unload of baggage, then board a plane, then fly for several hours, unpack, get a cab, unpack again. Or I can just opt for a rental car, which is what I just now booked. Rather just deal with the 11 hour drive that unload so many times, and well fuck it is actually cheaper to drive.

Oh yeah, no I have not packed yet.
