Who hasn't received their GFY poker prizes?

I've posted numerous times trying to collect my prize for the Feb. 21st tournament. I've been told Rictor or Tofu issue the prizes but still haven't received mine. Luckily I play poker for the fun and not for the prizes, but I actually do want the prize I won for this tournament.

Several other people have also mentioned that they've won prizes that they never received. Maybe if we get a listing of the dates and winners, we will finally get the prizes we were promised. So, if you've won and haven't received your prize yet, please post here.

I spoke to Loryn regarding this matter, and it appears as if they have to ORDER them (which Lensman is working on)

as soon as they get them in stock, we will have our prizes

Actually I asked you very specific questions about the prizes which you didn't answer and then didn't bother to ask GFY. You never got back to me so my concerns are very fucking valid. Stop being a fucking prick and fulfill your function as the fucking host. You always have a shitty attitude. I have no clue why you took the responsibility of hosting the tournaments. Fuck off.

You asked me questions that I don't have answers to, like specifics about what kind of DVD player, camera, etc. are being given out. I don't know. That information hasn't been provided to me, and I have asked with no reply.

That page doesn't include poker prizes, I just re-read it.

The reason I'm posting publically is because, although you were the one who posted the contest and prizes for the tournament I won, you keep telling me other people are responsible for issuing my prize. I don't like complaining and I shouldn't have to in order to get the prize. But it has been almost 2 months and I've never even received an email until today. Now I'm told to contact Tofu. That's a new name for me to contact and so I sent him an email today as well.

Prizes aren't really prizes if they're never issued.

Okay, here's what I know about GFY poker:

I like to play poker and I wanted to play with GFY people, mostly some of the people I played with in Vegas. Lensman said cool, you can run the tournaments. I agreed, but never really got any direction on how he wanted them run. I hookled up with Choice Poker/Adult Poker Tour and started running the tourneys there.

Lensman said, let's have poker every day and named off some prizes I could offer.

He told me to e-mail [email protected] with winner's info.

Some people complained about not getting their prizes.

I was then told to start e-mail [email protected] instead.

People are still complaining about not getting their prizes.

I stopped playing in the GFY tourneys because they aren't any fun for me with people bitching at me about something I have no control over.

I still forward winner info to Tofu, that's all I can do.

I signed up to help with the poker thing because I thought it would be fun...the only way I think it would be fun now is if they STOP offering prizes. Then it would actually be about the poker and not trying to win a toy.

Rictor dude, I really like the fact that you can win prizes at the poker tournies

there can be 2 ways to fix this,

- the communication between the prize issuers and the tourny winners should be improved somehow

- stop offering prizes

there are winners EVERY SINGLE DAY on GFY, and without the proper communication, you guys will recieve "complaints" every single day, ya know?

I REALLY like the fact that GFY has prizes, it's the tourny I like playing most out of all the rest because I am motivated to win, ya know?

Thank you for your response. Now that I know the chain of command, I will not bother you any more in regards to my prize. Like you, I play for the fun of playing poker. I've came in top 3 several times and haven't wanted any of my other prizes so I never made a big deal about the other tournaments. The Feb 21st tournament actually had a prize that I want; so even though I play for the game and not the prize, I do expect to be able to collect the prize that was offered.

If all future tournaments didn't offer prizes, I would still play. I enjoy playing for playing sake. But at the same time, I do expect to get this prize since I won fair-and-square and it was promised in advance.

I still havn't won 1st. someday I will.

Rictor, I'll be on ICQ in a few. I'll email Lensman and see if he wants to continue with prizes at all. and if he does I will make sure he makes it so we don't get asked everyday about this. if he doesn't then we don'thave to worry about it anymore.

I would still play regardless of the prizes. My issue was the follow through after the tournament I won. If you don't know then tell me you don't know and put me in contact with the person that does. That's all.

Either way is cool. I love playing with everyone and still plan on spending my time with everyone here at the table. Hopefully Rictor wil comeback and play too. I like taking his money.
