    What's up with that guy suing VISA ?

    I remember reading few months ago that some idiot-paysite owner was going to sue VISA baceuase someone had stolen his content and VISA was processing for their sites.
    He claimed that VISA should not process for sites that use stolen content so he decided to sue the credit card company...

    any news on that ?

                                          Visa might just turn around and say, this is not worth the trouble. I doubt it but it couls happen.

                                          Or they could say to merchants, "You are responsible if stolen content is found on your site, or connected to it, and you lose your account."

                                          So imagine the problem of monitoring all your affiliates.

                                          But look on the bright side, we could lose every single affiliate, TGP site, AVS site, Freesite and not lose a single paying surfer.

                                          We had one organisation going after pirates, APIC. OK it was run by an arsehole but it's gone. Can I suggest the next organisation that springs up is welcomed and supported. For all our sakes.

                                          Suing broke webmasters is a waste of time, energy and money. Suing a big sponsor for making a profit from piracy is a much better route.
