Got 100+ domains with registerfly and been with them 5+ years. Their new look site and features are better than ever. Scan the search history of this board and you'll know why you shouldn't use Godaddy. They will hijack your domain if you get one spam complaint."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..
Its crazy..."

I have about 80 names with registerfly and never any problems.. I pulled the ones I had with godaddy.. as they don't seem to like adult very much... wouldn't be wise to buy adult names with godaddy

Registerfly here... we tried Godaddy but got a couple complaints and lost our domains.
I've been using Registerfly and ZERO complaints.. nothing comes through on my email either because the /whois information is pretty well protected, especially if you get their 'anonymous' protection for a minor additional cost (like 2 bux I think)
So it depends on the purpose of your sites.. but seriously I'd recommend Registerfly to those who want an easy domain management system.

I've dealt with both. I prefer Godaddy because they have better techsupport. Also, registerfly makes it a real pain in the ass to transfer away domains.Comment

would you rather have better tech support or get your domains pulled for various reasons? About the only thing I've heard bad about registerfly is tech support.. Which I've never had any issue with , they may be a bit slow but I can live with that.
However I have heard of several cases of domains being suspended by godaddy just do a seach..In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

When I went to both directnic and register.com to check my /whois I see 'This information is unavailable'Originally posted by ajpiii
what does their whois info show up as with the privacy stuff ? Does it have your name at all ?
I've checked from different IP's and it's the same.Long Live Legion!

I dont mind registerfly's techsupport, but I will never use them again because of how difficult they made it for me to transfer away my domains. When I was using them, registered domains were automatically set to "Locked" status, and there was no "unlock" option to transfer them away. Long story short... it took half a dozen emails and hours of conversing back and forth with them to make them understand I wanted to unlock my domains and transfer them away.Originally posted by crockett
