    Quick Question: For those that own a paysite Please read

    Hey I have a few members wanting to pay extra for VHS tapes of my shoots I was wondering this, Legaly I know I shouldn't send via reg usmail should I use fed-ex? Do you know if Fed-ex or ups is a lot safer in sending vhs tapes?


    One more thing, Do you know of a company that will take my videos and make dvd's out of the content?

      bump for a very good question.
      I know theres a list of zip codes around you should not bemailing to. Check a Adult DVD retailer site perhaps?

      Also dont use USPS use a courier if possible.
      The mail is a scary place for porn these days.

          Just get a DVD burner and cut out the middle man...unless you're doing a huge number of dvd mailings a month you should be able to handle that yourself.

              A loophole is to have a Canadian company handle your distribution. We handle orders for many US sites. Our shipments cross the border and are subject to federal law, not state; not that they can prosecute us anyway ;-)

                  If you use FedEx, Airborne Express or UPS, you shouldn't have a problem with shipping. They are privately owned companies.

                  Never use the postal system in the US for shipping anything adult related.

                      I wouldnt use Fed EX

                      It seems that somewhere in their fine print they have the right to examine the contents of your packages. They flat out refused to ship my package of softcore videos because of 'suspected pornography' and made me pick up the package at their depot.

                          We do the same thing, cut up movies in the members area with a link to get the full length DVD from our store. Works like a fucking charm and use Fed-Ex, running a merchant account through Netbilling

                                  Thanks for the tip. I'll have to read their fine print. I've never had a problem with either of the three companies I mentioned; but, if FedEx does that....I won't recommend them anymore.
