Imagine the less friendly countries. Not to mention the food and water standards in most other countries is much worse than in the US.

Hell I've never been west of the Mississippi River. Once again, no desire too, WTF I want to go to California? I'd go there and the 'big one" would hit.

Also the US is bigger than Europe so an American that travled from Seattle to Miami would have traveled father than some "enlighten" European that traveled Norway to Greece.
