same here. there was a physical resemblance, plus both were New York City guys, ethnic types, one Irish the other I think Jewish. yea I found it quite weird that he had left like he did on the show made me wonder as to the reason why he was leaving.... my first thought was earlier this year that they were supposed to be spinning L&O off again (similar to how csi is positioning) Now I see that was true... I didnt hear much about the spinoff tooo long after he left so then I started thinking something else was wrong.... but never this.... I really liked the show when he was on cause he added personality to the show but dennis florina doest add that same flavor to the show. This is sad...we have lost another great...
