    If i put my taxes in a blue-mailbox today..will it get marked today?

    If it put my taxes in the blue mailbox today....when they pick it up,,,,,,does it get marked today?


    Anyone know for sure or do i have to physically hand it to them at a major post office for it to get marked today?

              Usually the blue boxes have pick up times on them. If it is past the pick up time then no, but if it is before then you should be fine!

                                          If you don't want to wait in line, just go to the post office and use the little scale/postage meter and buy stamps at the machine and hand it to the clerk without waiting... (drop it off in the slot there) that way it is certain to get postmarked today, but now line.

                                                  Man the first post office i went to doesnt exist anymore!



                                                  But I made it with 5 minutes to spare to the next one (big bad traffic round here) and the guy says I'm cool.



                                                  Rewarded with some sweet t-top weather for the ride home, at least 70 the best day of the year.
