    Ok Folks!!


    Some people on this board are just plain fucking idiots with too much time on their hands!!

    Looking at some recent threads about certain people bitching about people hitting them up in ICQ! Tip: All you need to say is NO THANKS!! There's no need to bring stuff onto a board and bitch about it unless it involves or effects a lot of webmasters and you have proof!!

    Fucking get a life, if some of you spent more time building and less time bitching then you would be in a better postion!!

    If you've got a probblem with someone than at least hit them up on ICQ or email them or whatever and give them the courtesy of speaking to them in private about it!

    To be honest I don't mind sales reps hitting me up in ICQ!! Most of the times I don't have time to hunt for new sponsors!

              This is exactly what i would do if the person outright introduced herself and told me what she wanted: "Hi' I'm Sarah, I work for SlickCash and I wan't to check out out rogram - www.slickcash.com"

              But when she wastes a hour of my time asking how i'm doing, what sites I run bla bla bla, and only then drops the punchline "check out our great converting program !!" - i feel pretty mighty pissed.

              The thing that you talk about "marketing" is pure bullshit. SexPromote and SlickCash coach their employees to SPAM people on icq - they must be giving them written templates, because in 1.5 years their spam tactics havent changed a single bit.

              Anyway, how shitty a program must be if they are so broke that they can't buy an ad on a web board and hire some people to spam webmasters on icq insted ?

                  I still can't figure you guys out....Obviously, none of you making these comments are in sales at all! How much sense would that make to hit someone up and ask for a sale from them, WITHOUT qualifying them in the least to find out anything about them, or even if your product/service will meet their needs?

                                              Here's an idea: buy an ad spot on GFY like all normal companies do. Then visit all kinds of webmaster shows and do your marketing there.
