i have a lot of friends in canada and i've stayed up there for extended periods of time. honestly if you don't pay attention to the currency and the "eh"'s, it's hard to tell the difference. I've stayed in Kelowna and Vancouver mostly, both great places.
Vancouver's weather pretty much mirror's that of Seattle, so it's not extraordinarily cold. Kelowna on the other hand is cold as fuck in the winter and hot as hell in the summer. Personally I like Seattle cuz it's like living in Gotham. A lot of overcast days and moderate weather.
The taxes in Canada suck major ass but they are friendly to small businesses. I would probably pick Victoria if I were to move there.
My question is why would you consider Canada over South America (meaning not mexico for you uneducated folk). Costa Rica is amazing and dirt ass cheap.
