That's something I don't want to hear....

In my experience 15 images on a gallery has been the industry standard.

Will 12 photos to a gallery zip limit the amount of promotion an affilate can do in any way?

Does it depend on the quality of the content more than just the number of images in a gallery?

If you are talking about hosted galleries, I think 12 pics is totally enough.
No need to offer more.

Yea I figured 12 was ok on hosteds...I am actaully talking about downloadable zips of photo sets to create galleries for submitting to tgp's etc..

I am putting some sites in my program that will only allow us to use 12 images per photo set. I wanted to see if this was going to effect our marketing potential greatly or not..

Almost every softcore set has several pics of the girl getting undressed and almost every hardcore set has pics of the couple making out and undressing before fucking.....use 5 or 6 that don't show anything and then 10 that do.

Then the TGP owner gets to put "8 bazillion new pics today" on his site and you only gave away 10 "real" pics to the freeloaders (as you call them)

You can do the same thing with movies too....nobody said that every single clip had to be XXX rated.

If a person hits your gallery from a TGP.....there are at LEAST 100 new galleries listed per day at that TGP and yours is just one of them. (Not to mention the TGP's archives and links to other TGP's)

How in the world are 5 more pictures on your gallery going to make a difference in how much free porn that surfer is able to see??

I think the people that don't buy porn can't buy porn....they live in a country you don't have billing for, or their wife will find out from the credit card statement, or unfortunately they're teenagers sneaking a peek.
These people of course FLOCK to TGP's and MGP's

However
There are ALOT of buyers that surf TGP's and MGP's, they do buy and they buy often and most of the time are members of more than one site at the same time.
The price you pay for getting the buyers eyes on your advertising is that the freeloaders burn some of your bandwidth.....I think its not a bad trade off, I make a living at it.
But 5 more pictures or 10 more movies or whatever doesn't make a difference, the buyers will eventually find something they can't live without and pay for it....you just have to convince them they can't live without what you have.

i'm not saying that it will happen, but it would be nice. ween the surfers from the free shit and gear them towards paying more.

the tgps are the key to making us all more money. get the drug addicts(porn surfers) off of the free crack and make them pay more. if all of the tgps gave minimum free shit and made them upsell, everyone would make more money........ or would they?

how many assholes would under cut the big players in the tgp game and still give away the farm?

sponsors giving out content for their sites should do like 1 zip file containing 20 images all the same size. If they are movies 3 or 6 movies depending on size length.

For submitters 15 pics does it at most places, but some want 20 pics.

For paid spots generally 12-15 is the minimum amount of pics needed. Movie Galleries between 2-5 movies...
