    How do I get more affiliates?

    I have a good converting site but am having a bitch of a time getting affiliates in my program. I took the boards' advice and offer 2 companies, and would like some feedback on what I can do to promote better to other webmasters.

              trade? i guess you mean to trade affiliate sign-ups with other webmasters?

              i have offered several times and no luck.

              I even offered a front page link when I bought ad space on thehun.com and only got 3 takers and of course they didn't send 1 hit so they got removed before the thehun traffic hit.

              I guess buying ads on boards is the only thing left??

                  This business is a little diferent than most. People prefer to do business with those they know and trust. It's all aobut networking and getting your name out there.

                  Try attending a few key shows.....The Phoenix Forum is probably the best show of the year for this kind of stuff. Too bad it was last week.

                          I agree... going to the shows is most important... Drink some beer with these webmasters and get to know them... It's no different that any other business! People buy and use the services of friends, or the people they gulf with or party with... Then have a good program, so they can make some money with it...

                          And yes, the Girls of Pineapplepink are looking for a few good webmasters too...

                              Participate in threads and contribute. People will get a feel of you through the attitude conveyed through your posts. Once they feel that you have some credibility, they will explore your signature.

                              btw- a big part of your problem is Verotel

                                      Make good sig. and post messages on boards and forums.
                                      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
