Dvds For A Buck raises its webmaster payouts!

Woodland Hills, CA - DVDs For A Buck (http://www.dvdsforabuck.com), the first $1 Adult DVD Club affiliate program, is raising its Webmaster payouts.

The new payout structure will pay webmasters an additional $5 dollars for each signup. Webmasters will now earn $25 dollars for each $1 signup and $30 dollars per signup for 50 signups per week with no deductions.

DVDs For A Buck has quickly grown to be the largest online DVD club with an inventory of 45,000 DVDs. Users can search by category, performer, publisher, and title.

Affiliate payments are made weekly by DVDs For A Buck (http://www.dvdsforabuck.com/webmasters). Webmasters can be paid by check, check via Fed Ex or wire transfer. This goes into effect as of traffic starti ng April 12th forward.

The way our club works is that at the time of checkout, there are two events happening.

First, the user is charged $1 for their 5 initial DVDs. The user may also select a 6th DVD for $8.99 and a 7th DVD for $6.99.

The second event is that the surfer is immediately charged $34.95 for the first month membership. This then allows them to immediately redeem 2 DVD credits within their member area for DVDs with free shipping.

Also, aside from providing DVDs that they can keep forever, we also offer members access to a full paysite for free.

I sent traffic. Made 1 sale. Sent a good bit more with no sales. Stopped sending it for 15-20 days. I added some links to a new site I'm launching to "test the waters" again. Then logged in and found my account deleted.

This took place over the past weekend so yes I *should* have sent email but I've been busy working on new projects. Any thoughts?

your program looks nice, but I just think that pay per signup programs always should pay more than what the surfer pays for their first month of membership.

Why tell webmasters they're getting $25 for a $1 signup when you're charging the surfer $36???

When dealing with standard paysite models I would tend to agree with your point. However, this is a unique program. Unlike standard membership programs, we're taking on HARD costs of $50+ dollars per membership that we collect $35.95 ($1 + $34.95) .. No deductions for returns .. No exit traffic (ZERO consoles)
