We've seen 'em all and still the best USP webcam i've found is the old 3comm Home Connect cam ... they stoped producing 'em but u can find 'em around and there's another company still supporting the drivers (i can find u the link if u need it).

Stay away from the low-end logitech cams. Mine is grainy as shit.

Quickcam 4000 and Intel PC Cam Pro have been my favourites.

You outta get a used camcorder off ebay and a capture card. Soooo much better than a webcam.

Camcorder / Capture Card combo's good ... Camcorder with Firewire out / Firewire card's better ...

But then u gotta start checking the Broadcaster software and is it compatable (even with an analog capture card) ... VFW or DirectShow support ...

Well, I suggest the osprey 100 coupled with a sony trv-140. But that setup is more than 150$

I would go with dazzle 80 and a cheap and compatible videocamera, you might be able to keep that under 150$

True, but it means its semi well made. I dont think the quality is great, but its not bad.

You will want something with an s-video or composite video out. Digital is not needed.

(or maybe usb2 or firewire, though Ive never used either so I cant say)
