GameCube is nice for a couple of games like Mario Kart / Metroid Prime / Tales of Symphonia but for any other game that's multi-platform I'd get the xbox

I bought one when it first came out and now wish I had spent that $$ on a PS2. Half the games I am interested in aren't out for GameCube, and it seems like the 2005 batch of Star Wars games about the new movie aren't even coming to Nintendo, and I have no idea why. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with a PS2. GameCube isn't horrible, but it should have more titles...Goldie
