Just found out they never canceled my extended warranty after 14 months. Now they admit they dropped the ball.... however they no longer have the paperwork and are saying there is nothing I can do.

So... I am out 2500.00. more or less... still have the warranty... but it will void with the lift I am installing

Not worth the time... I will just hold off on the lift for a while... and make the most of the warranty.

Or, maybe I will be a prick and report them to Chrysler Corporate and get one of their 5 stars removed from their 5 star rating. I mean I went to the president... Connie Moore... Bitch Hung up on me. Talk about customer service.

after my experience with warrantybynet.com i will never buy another extended warranty ever again... everything they told me was a lie... in general extended warranties are a waste because things rarely go down during coverage that exceed the cost of the warranty but i wanted some insurance just in case for personal reasons... what a fucking waste of money and a fucking shit company

Normally I would not have... but you just never know with a used vehicle... granded... it was only 6 mo. old and low miles... but you just never know. Once I saw that it was fine... I canceled... that was like one month. It was a Chrysler warranty so I figured it was a good one... covers everything.

What are you lifting, and with what kit? I've been wanting to slap a 6 inch lift and some 35's on my truck for years but I'm too worried it will wreck it.

they tell you it covers everything, but as soon as you need work you will find out a whole lot of things arent covered... i cancelled my warranty on january 6th... it took until last week to get a refund AND they didnt refund me, they refunded my credit card company even though i paid the warranty off immediately a long time ago... so now i have to sit and wait for the check from my credit card co... i dont need the money right away but it still pisses me off... i cant imagine how mad id be if i actually needed the money for something and i was counting on it

Have an 02 Wrangler Sport. I wanna go 4 inches... (really 6... but stupid on that) and the warranty only allows for 3. Not sure what lift I will get... there are a lot out there... some up to like 3000.00

What would you suggest for that vehicle?

I called on a Ford dealer once because they kept jacking me around. Got everything taken care of very quickly after that call.

The dealer expects you not to call...because most just threaten they will but never do. The only way as a consumer you can help yourself and help others is by turning pricks like this in to the manufacturers and/or Better Business Bureau.

Just tell Chrysler exactly what happened...don't lie or elaborate. Tell them you were a little upset and might have come across that way...they won't care if you are honest about it up front.

Fuck asshole dealers like this. They get huge discounts by having those 5 star ratings. Just a few complaints kills them, as there discounts get less and harder to get the high end, exclusive models.

I don't know much about Jeeps, but for my truck (GM) I was thinking either Superlift or Rancho. But you pretty much have to look at each individual kit for your specific model, because they can vary so much in quality.

For instance, Superlift makes great lifts for the older style GMC 1/2 tons, but the kits they made for 99 and newer models had all sorts of problems due to the Instatrac 4WD.

I would definately make sure you check out some Jeep forums to see what others have been using. You probably won't have to worry as much, (Jeeps are still solid front axles, right?) My truck is torsion bar IFS so it really doesn't go too well with a lift kit.

Yea.. one axile. not sure about the rest... not good with mechanics... actually still learning the limitations of this thing. Have not rolled it (yet) but came close once. So that is why I think I will stay with a 4 " suspension lift... maybe a 2 " hahahaha lift to get 6... that way I can keep some decent center gravity.
