    should an email be sent when search is down

    i believe it would be a great thing if an email was to be sent out informing us about what is going on, why it is down and how long it's thought to stay down.

    the search function is a valued tool for a member. As many already know this ;)

    i have had a few fellow gfy's members icq me telling me it was a good idea.

    hopefully you will agree and get this to happen

The last thing I need is an inbox full of "GFY Search function update" emails. If its on and I need it, good, if it's not then an email about it isn't going to fix it is it? If you can't sleep not knowing if the search function is going to be okay then you are probably too dependant on GFY.
