I love cams too. If only I could find more cam content to make free sites I would be promting more of them.

Good ideas pimpdog, I'd love to give you my cam traffic. However, won't do it until you can get me a join page without the prechecked cross sales. I've been doing this too long and convert 30-50% better on free or $1 cam joins when the sponsor doesn't put prechecked cross sales on the join page. Right now, Weg and HSN are getting my 150 sales a week."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..

Good article although I'm not sure that with live cams, affiliates weren't on the ball faster than sponsors. This is about the only bandwagon I can remember that all but a few program operators ignored for so long.
Now it seems as if - with the novelty over and more competition all the time - the established names are digging in, cutting back on live teasers (if they use them at all), adding warps to their pages, etc.
That's a pity. So is that so many of the girls these days look as if the only thing on their minds is the end of their shifts. It's rare to spot girls who know how to tease as well as most seemed able to 3 or 4 years ago.
And on those sites where the 1-on-1 sessions show in a small hahahahahaha, you have to wonder when sometimes a girl hasen't so much as undone a bra strap, 5 minutes into a session at what, $5+ a minute. The mug paying for that likely won't be back and it can't do much to encourage those who are still thinking about it.
Interactivity (live video) has been the best thing of the past few years and handled right, it could get stronger and stronger. But right now it looks like another golden goose that most seem intent on slaughtering.Comment

Most cam programs manage to retain the members fairly well and they redeposit on their accounts. Some guys aren't looking for hardcore sex on cam just some teasing.

Retention is still good, but a lot lower than in the past. Sales started dipping maybe 18 months ago: not too surprising after such a good run and because so many of the newer models seemed to think it was enough just to sit and wait.Originally posted by BradM

I have taken the biggest hit recently because my best program dropped its (public) teaser w.i.n.d.o.w.s and another cut back the features on theirs while adding a warp, so I dropped them. I put my girls up on streamate.com last week and they're averaging $350/per 8 hour shift.. 1 session per girl..
The only way we get those kinds of numbers is on ifriends with 8 sessions per girl at a time..
Who knows how long this is going to last... if they keep the girl/member ratio to reasonable levels we'll be happy
