            i can assure you i read the post, i can assure you i didnt like what i read. Rio jumped to the conclusion that he would be pulling big traffic from Day1. I mean a couple of days after he gets his FREE account he is complaining. He can complain elesewhere now.

                            Fair enough. I agree that he probably had false assumptions on the traffic he was going to get, but at least he was happy and was willing to pay you for the upgraded pass unlike lots others just just cry bloody murder.

                            If I was Rio though I would have phrased my question differently, by saying I was happy with the traffic and was wanting more, and if anyone had feedback on the value of the upgrade. Putting the traffic value into the question was not needed in my opinion either.

                                exactly what i thought. you cant complain about low traffic on a new FREE account over the Easter holiday. yes he had low traffic, because the account was only two days old. i cant put new submitters in top spots, thats suicide in TGP, they have to hang around for awhile, prove they are honest i will raise them up the list.

                                        Gold is okay, but at one time *I* was a PLATINUM submitter at Shemp.com. Any of you fuckers here able to claim that?

                                        Back in those days I'd submit a gallery to shemp every few days as well as to about 60 other tgp's, and out of the signups just about every day I'd see at leat 1-3 from shemp's traffic. Through my own trial-and-error I figured out how to convert traffic from shemp and all those other sites, I asked no one if anyone's traffic was "any good" or "worth it" etc.

                                        Why am I telling you all this? Simple... because at no time would I ever think of questioning someone else's traffic on a public message board. It would be unthinkable to say they didn't send enough or anything like that, especially when it is free traffic. There have been more sumitters than good tgp's for a long time now, it is an owners market, not a submitters market. Very bad taste to be asking questions about someone's traffic like "is it worth it" etc.

                                        The only way I know of to find out if someone's traffic is "worth it" for me is to get it and use it, make adjustments over the course of weeks and in some cases even months, and fine tune it until I either get it right or move on. Traffic worth is subjective, one person's gold is another one's crap. You people need to stop asking other's if someone's traffic is "good" and just try it and tune your own shit up.

My only point is I think it would have been better to say Rio this is why your here, if your not happy with my free traffic then I can take away your pass if your not willing to be patient and earn your better placements, your call.

                                            If you read this whole thread, everyone know understands that etc, but it could have been better and less drama or debate I guess if your first post was like that and then if he complains or acts like a dick you delete his account like you did.

                                            Of course you have full control over your site etc, just think Rio got jumped on a bit harshly for asking a question.

He was saying he needed more traffic and wanted to know if the $90 a month for a Gold Plus account would get him enough traffic to be worth it.

Submitted my first gallery to Shemp last week. I haven't been listed yet but I'm assuming because it is a new account amd it will take 3-5 days to get listed. Even if I only receive 500 hits, I'll take it. It is free traffic. Once I figure his traffic out and I'm converting, I'll add him to my list of TGP's that I pay to get listed.

                                                                                                                                                                                        My theory has always been if I can convert on free traffic, I know I'll convert on paid traffic because I'll have a better placement which means more exposure.

                                                                                                                                                                                        It takes time to build a trust and a relationship. I see it more as he has something I want right now. Look at it as test drive for me and if the test drive goes well, Shemp will have another client that will pay to be listed which translates to another $14k per year in his pocket. Sounds like a solid business plan to me.
