    Bush is not a republican. He's a pupet to idealist ex liberal militaristic conservatives who are for ENLARGING the gov't to a world wide military complex.

    Anyone but bush will be a vast improvment for the US. Kerry might not be the best option, and not much will change, but at least there will be a new cabinet in the white house which couldn't get any worse than what it is now.

    IF we even get to that stage. With all the talk of a new terror attack on US soild coming soon (from the white house) Like General Tommy Franks said about the constitution being suspended or rewritten and martial law being put into effect and presidential elections being posponed or canceled bush would be the american dictator and they wouldn't need to "pass" laws on decency the could just say "no more porn" and we'd all be out of business.

    Dirty dirty tricks in the works and bush is coming back from vacation soon... that means the plans he made should be taking affect before you know it! Lets all get ready to pray to god to help bush out in his struggle! *sarcasm*

    Bad shit is in on the horizon, I can't wait to see what happens the next 2 years.

It's all in your perspective.

            If that makes me "pro-Bush" in your mind, then I'm left wondering what's wrong with your mind? I'm simply no fan of someone like Rich who seems to take the political position that his point of view is the only right one and everyone that disagrees with him is "a moron", "idiot" etc.

            Personally I'm glad Bush had the onions to go into the middle east and kick ass, that region has needed an ass-kicking for decades now. A hard line on terrorism is what is needed, and Iraq was not only in a strategic position in the region but it was, by all counts, a hotbed for terrorists, led by a man who has openly supported terroristic groups and their actions.

            Do I like the idea of Bush also supporting a holier-than-thou dipstick like J. Ashcr<b></b>oft? Hell no. Can I support someone on one decision but not on another? I'm pretty sure I can. And Rich, if YOU don't like it, you can go fuck <i>YOUR</i>self my friend.

I start a thread about the worst president ever and then post a letter written by someone else that shows he is not the worst ever and you guys say I am stupid, I should be burned alive, I have an excuse to be stupid because I am a woman, my boss should fire me because I don?t think like you. Now you tell me who is acting more like fucking Hitler? I disagree with some of you guys and I should be burned??? Fucking hilarious!!! You hate Republicans, you want them removed, sounds like Hitler to me. It amazes me how much hate some of you people have. How much you claim Republicans want to take away your freedom of speech but yet anyone who disagrees with you is "Jew who should be put in an oven"

                                                            I enjoy debating with some of you guys about stuff like this. It's fun. We go into a thread and we act like we know everything that is going on and we have all the answers. Sometimes it's even funny. Mr. Fiction cracks me up all the time when he bashes what I say. I don't take is personal, I don't think I am going to change the way he thinks, nor is he going to change the way I think. The good thing about being that way is, when we leave the political thread we go into a different thread and can laugh together or at each other. That is one of the great things about this country. We can be different and think different and still be friends and have respect for the other person. A lot of you in this thread have totally missed what being an American really is all about, too bad for you.

                                                                    Thanks for explaining the "difference" between you and Rich. But it did seem like you were saying Bush had done some very good things and Rich had asked you to name just one. That's all I was doing..don't care if you back Bush or not. Just asking you if you think Bush HAS done one thing that has significantly improved the citizens of the United States. I even asked that ? of everyone. And it's just interesting that so far, other than mumbled stuff that the war in Iraq is good cuz it's stopping the terrorists (which is hysterically wrong..even Bush insiders admit this), I've not heard ANYONE put out ONE SINGLE piece of info that shows Bush doing something positive for this country.

                                                                                                            It's not an article, it's a fun letter written to the editor. Not an article written by a journalist. Everyone's opinion is biased even yours. It's okay. 95 percent of the articles out there are biased. That is why I read articles written by both sides and I decided. I do not let articles sway my opinion. Articles give me information which I balance with my values to form my opinion.

                                                                                                                                                                yes I can see this, that's probably why it was so hard to get suffrage and the Civil Rights Act past the conservatives, they were protecting the constitution. It had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with not trusting women and blacks with a vote of their own.

Just because you leave them alone doesn't mean they're going to leave you alone, and economically you have no choice but to be involved in international relations whether you want to be or not. Isolationism a la Pat Buchanan is just sticking your head in the sand and thinking nohahahaha else can see you.

The problem is that you can't just go and shoot the bad guys. There are millions of them, and they have children. It only works if you slaughter the entire race, and I don't think anyone wants that, right? Most of the problems in Yugoslavia, Iraq and other hot spots can be traced down to artificial national borders drawn up by western powers after wars that are hotly resented by the people living in those countries.
