If it really does affect politics in their country like it did in spain, then there is something seriously wrong with american culture.

There are always expected losses in a war.

      Sad but true.

Probably not very good seeing that the majority of people didn't want to be part of that war to begin with.

Why is that? Because other countries deal and succumb to terrorist actions/threats, the US should also?

People defending there country are terrorists now?

The Japanese PM succumbed to US pressure and violated the Japanese constitution in order to send a few troops. Hopefully the people will get rid of that wimp.

The only country who seem to succumb to terrorist actions is the US and the Bush admin. Ben Laden wanted them gone from Saudi Arabia and so they removed there troops from there.

the people of spain changed their political party because they participated in an illegal war. if the Japanese turn on their govt, then great, all the power to the people.

and then we have the americans just keep getting more and more pissed because their OCCUPYING forces are being killed. and who do they get mad at? not the administration that started the illegal war, they take it out on arabs. even on gfy i can see the escalation of antiarab sentiment.

if the states were to occupy my country, it's guaranteed that me, and many many other citizens would do the same thing the iraqis are.

Another screw up by the Bush admin. Just what exactly where they expecting to accomplish by putting pressure on foreign governments who's people are against the war?

Now they're even begging France to join the fight. They said from the start that they didn't care and they'll got at it alone and yet they keep begging left and right for some help. It's pathetic how Bush weakened the image of the US.
