                  It worked for me on and off, appear to be some problems with the script. I've fount that the image functions is very unreliable. I usually use file functions insted.

                      nah its , well i guess i could have done better error reporting but basically it searches google images for YOUR CITY POLICE then grabs one of the images at random and watermarks it with my logo.. but of course i cant predict if the pictures will still exist or have hotlink protection ..

                          You should be able to see if you get proper data, and if not get a new image.

                            i could have alos cooalated a picture for every city on earth , but oif course that would be time consuming..

                            problem with getting new image is if theres an error like no image or hotlink protection on and it resamples google , then google will ban my server from getting new images..

                                  Not if you retrive the result page, parse it and save all image links, do a random from that list until you find a image you are able to retrive.
