Interesting question.
A bit off topic.... but I would think that a person who is willing to die/wants to die would be a very powerful person. They have lost the fear of death, meaning fear for their well being. Being free from the sense of I (at least the survival part) can be a very powerful moment since they are free to try things/decide things that normal people would not try.
UNFORTUNATELY, what is holding back suicidal people from greatness is that this sense of not caring/clinging to one's self is paired with a great despair and heavy senseNOTHINGNESS... this pretty much defeats any sense of liberation and results in a feeling of OPPRESSION so great that many try suicide to escape it.
