WOW!!! 1:76 on 404 traffic!! I don't believe it!!

Ok, I'm going to do a little spam here, but only because I'm so happy I changed my .htaccess today to you guys...

I get at least 500 404 errors a day and I've NEVER been able to convert this traffic!! But today I changed sponsors and WOW, I had a great surprise...

Yes, I've always heard e-mail sponsors are the best to send your 404 traffic, but I had never tried it before.

Today I got 7 sign ups from my 404 traffic!!

Thanks DateDollars!

PS: Do you guys think that I should try other e-mail sponsors to see if I can convert better this traffic or should I stick to DateDollars?

I'm just a newbie.

no way. i heard 404 traffic converts at least at 1:1000. there is no way u could of got 1:76 unless it was SE traffic

I don't believe it either!

Just yesterday I was bashing a guy over JBM that said that he was converting better then 1:1000 on pop-up traffic and today, just because I changed the URL on my .htaccess I got a few bucks out of it! That was great!

I'm just a newbie.

Unless the 404 traffic is a SE traffic you can by 1 000 000 hits for , so yes
1:76 is a fucking good ratio even for an email sponsor...
