    on a more serious note

    During the PHX forum there was an open talk during one of the seminars regarding a lobby group, dedicated to the porn industry.

    Someone to safeguard our rights and fight for the ones we do deserve.


    Everyone, top industry people all agreed, yep..there were plenty of heads nodding in agreement, someone even offered to hahahahaha checks for the right party should they step forward.



    However, here we are no further along.

    I'd like to know how we go about getting that process in place?

    Who is a likely canditate?
    I'm sure it would require a team of people, but there would have to be a lead person.

    How would they go about lobbying for us?


    what are the factors involved?

    if people would like to add serious commentary here, i think it could be beneficial to all.

      Brad I agree there should be some sort of lobbying group...the joke of the day was "have you ever tried to herd cats."

      I think someone will have to just go ahead and try to set an example.

      There are many key leaders in this industry, people who have money and the ability to deflect the focus that being the leader will bring upon them.

      Let's call these guys out...where are they?

          im all for taking the intitiative, but id hate to expend tons of energy going in the wrong direction.

          i was hoping someone would have an inkling as to what steps need to be taken first.

          open discussion usually brings about great ideas......i guess there are non to be had here

              I agree that we need that too, but I liken it to a union for adult workers. There are so many problems with that I wont go into it.

                  There are more problems if we do not go into it.

                  It's simple we form a "Union" set down rules of behaviour, then agree to do business only with other Union members. We get rid of the scammers, Ultra HardCore and cheats.

                  They can still be in business but outside the system, they might find it hard to get hosting and CC processing.

                  We then take on Acacia, Bush and any other threat as a united group. Able to represent ourselves and fight for our rights.

                  We do not we remain a bunch of easy target kids. Who can be made a living out of or used as a political hammer.
