Someone asked if
Adwords Equalizer is worth buying. MY answer, Yes, but you can also survive without it. The one major drawback to Adwords Equalizer is that the traffic stats it provides are usually pretty inaccurate. It get's these stats from Overture. And overture uses VERY broad based logic when delivering results for searches.
So, I use
Adwords Equalizer f=to find undeutilized niches, then I validate the traffic stats with
Wordtracker.
Wordtracker offers a free trial. If you are doing mainstream sites, you might be able to get away with never buying a membership. But, for any adult terms, such as sex, nude, adult, ...., the free trial will give you zero results. Only the paid subscription delivers adult search figures. I find wordtracker's traffic figures ARE quite accurate.
