The ad wasn't created for TV.
It was created as part of a viral marketing promotion for the internet only.
Viral marketing, for those who don't know, is where someone tells his friends about something (ie, this movie), they tell their friends, anbd their friends tell thier friends --- and the number of views grows exponentially.
So as far as Ford is concerned, they've had worldwide exposure for the cost of nothing much at all.

What the fuck happens to the cat. It looks like its head gets chopped of and drops into the car but when it slides down I think it still has its head. An ear or something? I had the sound off so maybe that gives it away. It looks pretty bad.Comment
