Does google's PR plays a major factor on google's listing?

    Does google's PR plays a major factor on google's listing?

    I have a gallery that is pr2 #4 on a certain keyword... no major SEO other than the title and maybe a link or 2......
    On the other hand I got a page optimized for that keyword bla bla bla pr4, yet not even in the top 10.

    Doesn't seem like PR plays a major affect on listings...discuss.

              I really does not seem like PR plays a big part in SEO anymore but I think you need at a PR3 to pick off some keyphrases under 500,000 competitor results.

              Although if it is a BAD PR = Bad backlinks blogs n shit you wont get shit, Yahoo might like you still

                              it plays a role, but its not as big as everyone makes it out to be,
