I think the Republicans expect Dems to be like "oh, you're right, I take it all back, Bush was the better man" since he won the election. But Bush is just as hated as ever. It's not like Clinton or Reagan who had some support across the board and were generally well-liked. What happened is we have the whole Bible Belt who always votes Republican and Kerry didn't reach out enough to the people in the middle ground.

So, there's no point in continuing a big stink about things now, that would just enforce the idea of the whiny liberal. People were taking some pretty strong stands before the election because we were trying to rally people to get out and make the right decision.

At this point, it's just wait and see. As hated as Bush is, if he continues to make the wrong moves, there's people who will want a revolution. This country is still as divided as ever.
