The US has no choice unless a large majority of republicans and people that support this war, volunteer to join the army. Soon Iran is going to be an issue needing to be dealt with, and when that happens there is nobody left to call upon. Our national guard is laregly depleted and people are not re-upping for more time. So much so that the government is trying to give cash payements of $15k for people to reup. Calling up 70 year olds that retired long ago after fighting in Nam is a bad sign.
Its only a matter of time before a draft is in place. The governement just doesnt offer enough incentives to join volunteerly, and if Bush wants to keep on his rampage to rule the world, he will need everyones ass on the front line.
