    a lounge where about 10 girls sit around and ask you if you want a private dance, you go to the back and they give u a topless lapdance.

    you charge $2 a song per dance x 100 dances = $200

          Private dances like this one though are much better. I also think your calculations for running a strip joint are way under. Add another 0 on the end of that total for the nightly take.

                                                                                  10am to 4am assumes 16 hours a day. That would typically mean at least 2 shifts of girls if not 3. Many would not want the morning to mid afternoon shifts.

                                                                                  In your figures you only assume 50 customers a day and with that number to cover your estimated number of privates each has to buy 2 dances each.
                                                                                  You state a 50.00 a day charge to the dancers, yet as I stated above many will not want the early shift, nor would feel it is worth the 50.00 for it.
                                                                                  You also assume only 10 dancers for 16 hours, either that would be 5 per shift or are you assuming all 10 will work the full 16?

                                                                                      im not saying i pay them.. they pay me $50 to work, they keep $10 a dance. so they pay $50 and work 4 hour shifts. they pay you to work there and make money off dances from the ppl.

That means they're going to want to make at least $300 I would imagine. Thats about $80 an hour, which comes out to 8 dances each hour. With a total of 50 customers, how can each girl possibly get 8 dances every hour.

                                                                                                                                              if you were to do it, u'd need much more foot traffic then you could really get at a place with no alcohol. this guy you 'know' most likely isn't giving you the real figures. ask a car salesman how many cars he sells a week, he'll tell you 20, become the manager, and you'll see the same guy doing 4-5 on a good week.

                                                                                                                                              my friends club is an actual lounge with alcohol and there aren't more than four girls there at any time because its more of a novelty and here in Houston for example he had to purchase the land to run his club on.

                                                                                                                                              the only feasible place for you to make the money you're talking about would be in vegas. perhaps in a semi-exclusive or pricey part of a casino / hotel where it would be sold as a clean fun environment to cool off after the tables or for a breather when you just don't feel like drinking for a while.

                                                                                                                                              even then, one security man won't be enough, one for the door, fine, and then you need a presense around the girls because drinking or not, guy will get out of hand, it's part of the business.

                                                                                                                                              second problem is this, if a girl is going to get topless, and is attractive enough to work the guys who arent buying drinks, why wouldnt she just work at real club, where they "pad" the tabs by getting guys drunk which in turn usually nets more dances.

                                                                                                                                              just some shit for you to think about.

When Sharon Pratt Kelly was elected as Mayor in 1991 the fun police closed them all down.

                                                                                                                                                                      Although your're on the right track, the topless thing borders on prostitution. It would be hard to get off the ground without paying off a lot of people.

                                                                                                                                                                                  my friends club is an actual lounge with alcohol and there aren't more than four girls there at any time because its more of a novelty and here in Houston for example he had to purchase the land to run his club on.

                                                                                                                                                                                  the only feasible place for you to make the money you're talking about would be in vegas. perhaps in a semi-exclusive or pricey part of a casino / hotel where it would be sold as a clean fun environment to cool off after the tables or for a breather when you just don't feel like drinking for a while.

                                                                                                                                                                                  even then, one security man won't be enough, one for the door, fine, and then you need a presense around the girls because drinking or not, guy will get out of hand, it's part of the business.

                                                                                                                                                                                  second problem is this, if a girl is going to get topless, and is attractive enough to work the guys who arent buying drinks, why wouldnt she just work at real club, where they "pad" the tabs by getting guys drunk which in turn usually nets more dances.

Keep in mind I'm in the Bible Belt and we had judges, cops, etc as customers. No heat. People just over-looked it unless it was election time in which we just slowed down the advertising.
