    Put the phone away and watch your damn kid!

    some people piss me off. I just got back from a trip to the doctors and on my way back I see this mother with her daughter - had to me maybe four years old - walking behind her while she talked away on her mobile phone. Meanwhile the little girl is #1 behind her so she can't see what she is doing and #2 walking along the edge of the sidewalk and kept almost stepping into traffic. I couldn't help it, I actually said 'hey! watch her she is going into traffic.' and the lady gave me a snotty look and kept on walking.

                  What kills me are the people who drive holding the phone to the ear on the opposite side of the hand they are holding it with (blocking their peripheral on that side with their wrist) or who nearly hit you then give you a dirty look like you should be watching for them while they make their call.

                              In some states (like in Florida) it is illegal to eat and drive, not that it's enforced mind you...

                              as for the cell phone users who think their conversation is more important than driving...I have found a new use for my horn...

                                              I've went crazy a few times when i see (mostly) women with kids who are running about at the side of the road, while they are either too busy chatting away, or as in your case, on the phone.


                                              They do give you that look, but what they don't see is that your actually doing more for her kid by looking out for them then she is. If the kid does get hit by the car, it's all the drivers fault...

                                                          I see that all the time, except instead of a phone usually mom is pushing a stolen shopping cart or stroller with a pack of kids trailing all over the damn place on busy streets.

                                                          And if someone would open a chain of stores where kids are not allowed I would shop there every damn day because like 95% of people don't watch their kids.

                                                          I swear, I was in line at the grocery store once, and in the cart in front of me was a 1-2 year old little boy who grabbed one of those plastic grocery seperator sticks and was trying to hit me. His mom made one comment to him about it then like turned away. The kid was whacking everything in his reach with this stick. I wanted to grab it from him smack his mom with it.

                                                          People should have to qualify to breed.

                                                                  It's illegal in many states to drive, talk, and eat...and, let's not forget those wonderful kids who think getting a blow job while getting onto the freeway is a real high...oh, and speaking of driving while drunk, high, altered, etc....
