The impression I got from reading certain posts of Lens and others was that someone (or some people) were abusing the search feature.... which leads me to believe that it was interfering with the smooth operation of the board. You guys don't see me on here whining about it being disabled because I'm of the mind that, well, for want of a better way to say it... <i>It's not my fucking board.</i>
If Lens feels the need to disable the thing for a few weeks, then who the fuck am I to second-guess him and bitch and whine and cry and complain about it? If the board dont work right with the search enabled perhaps its time for a new server.
Time is money and without the search feature people will be wasting a hell of a lot more of it here.
Taking things away is never a good thing when Members are used to having it available to them, on any forum/site, some just say ok while others stand up and speak their mind, got balls?

I agree, no search feature is a real shame. I was looking for a certain content provider the other day, that was the time I noticed it being gone.
It took me almost 2 hours to figure out who I purchased certain content before from and to refind that particular content producer. It seriously sucked
