credit card fraud.. is this true?

i saw a note under a website and i think its cool and if i were you i would put it under my signup and cancel pages... and i really wonder why ccbill doesn't do that..

here you go read what it says:

" WORD TO THE WISE ABOUT CHARGE BACKS ON YOUR CREDIT CARD
A charge back on your credit card puts your name and credit card number into the fraud database that ALL Internet credit card processors use. We have NO control over this fraud database.

This means that you WILL NOT EVER, be able to use your credit card on the Internet. There is no way to get you name and credit card off this list.

IF YOU ARE SMART YOU WILL NOT RUIN YOUR WEB CREDIT !"

Yeah seems like that might kinda scare a surfer and lure him away from your site just go on and visit another site.

Way to scare stupid newbie surfers! Probably doesn't help sales.

I don't think it does, but if you have a high amount of charge backs, they might flag your card.

I see why some would think that would help keep people from cancelling but so many people are scared to use their card online as it is(and with good reason) that I wouldnt even think about it

Put that in the e-mail your members get after they signup, and/or inside the members area. That way they get the message and it won't affect sales.

I think this is in part true . After couple chargebacks, they will put it on a "fraud list" from what I heard
