    What is the WORST thing you have ever done?

    defining moment for me was about 4-5 years ago.

    I have always loved animals but we had a skunk problem here and it was getting scarry for my wife to even go out to her car in the morning on her way to work. One tried to spray her one morning and missed but got the car - it stank for weeks. So one day in the backyard I saw two young skunks and I shot one with my 22. The other one ran into the bushes and about 5 mins later came out to check on his dead buddy. I shot him too. Then it hit me, and i couldn't believe I had done that. I have never picked up a gun again. We had more skunks but I trapped every one after that and released them 15 miles away. Once we got the dog the skunks never came near our land again.

    That day is still with me and I'm completely disgusted with myself for my actions that day. I felt completely unworthy to be on the planet for weeks after that and still do when i think about it.

    What's the worst thing you've ever done?

                      no, i realized it after i shot the first one and the second one came out of the bushes into immediate danger to check on his buddy - it didn't hit me till i killed him though. those two skunks were teenagers and had been sceen around for a while - always together. The compassion that animal showed for his friend and the danger he faced to check on him tore me up inside.

                      I'll never hurt another animal again (cept for food, i still love meat)


                      probally could shoot a human though - esp those that piss me off lol

                              Growing up I went hunting a few times as a young man
                              at 15 I went deer hunting and was nervous as hell.
                              we got into the bush and waitied for hours then along comes these 2 deer. My Brothers friend whispers for me to take my shot.
                              I aimed ( hands were shaking ) and fired. Hit the deer thru the
                              side and it fell. My bro and freinds are all happy and rush in to
                              check the shot etc and I walked up to the animal also.
                              It was suffering, seems my nervous hands had shot it thru
                              the lungs and it was having major difficulty .
                              I felt so bad, ashamed I had done this for reason other than
                              to feel "Manly" and prove myself.
                              My brother finished the deer off and I went to
                              the truck and felt bad. Never have picked up a gun since and
                              dont ever plan on it .

                                              Once when I was 14 my friends and I shot a Hells Angel Biker with a paint Gun while driving on the Freeway. He flipped his bike around like Robo Cop and pulled out a bat and started swinging it over his head like Road Warrior as he chased us down the offramp. I pulled a couple of Dukes Of Hazzard Moves while causing about 3 accidents and then dissapeared during the mayhem.

                                                                  Once placed an empty beer keg on train tracks to watch it explode and it got sucked into the train causing a delay of hours for the people on it.

                                                                  There were cops everywhere in minutes. Me and my crew watched from a vantage point on a rooftop nearby.

                                                                  And more sinister......

                                                                  A freind of mine once tossed a lit zippo lighter into an factory buildng in the area.....fucking thing was loaded with clothes coming for the salvation army, it was their rejected donations

                                                                  Burned down and took a few other buildings with it...

                                                                  all over the news back in the day, I could see the fire from my house......my friend steve wouldnt come out for weeks afterwards in a total panic. ( the building was rebulit into really nice lofts afterwards)

                                                                          Probably not the worst thing I did, but since you were sort of on the subject...

                                                                          We use to hunt squirrels when I was a kid with our Crosman BB and pellet guns. (We had the pump action bb gun, the CO2 handguns and the CO2 semiautomatic that they made to look exactly like a real Uzi. (the good old days before they realized those weren't a good idea)

                                                                          They weren't quite powerful enough to kill them with one shot so we would be down below the trees shooting at them for quite a while, really pumping them full of lead and brass. It got pretty gory at times, they'd have holes and pellets hahahahahaded all over their hahahaha by the end.

                                                                          One time there was a group of 5 of us with a squirrel surrounded in a big tree. The squirrel tried to make a break out of the tree by running down to the ground and my friend hit it in the back with a garden hoe, killing it instantly, almost cutting it in half.

                                                                          The neighbours were watching and contemplated calling the police. They never did. Years later when we were older he told us how he watched us that day and how he was sickened.

                                                                          Ya, that was pretty bad.

                                                                                          Not for everyone, but good.

                                                                                          2 skunks, skinned and cleaned
                                                                                          1 tablespoon salt
                                                                                          water, to cover
                                                                                          2 cups bear fat or lard
                                                                                          2 egg yolks, beaten
                                                                                          3 cups milk or cream
                                                                                          1 1/2 cups flour
                                                                                          1/2 teaspoon salt
                                                                                          2 tablespoons baking powder
                                                                                          1. Clean and wash the skunks, making sure that the scent glands are removed.
                                                                                          2. Cut up into small serving pieces.
                                                                                          3. Put a soup kettle on the stove and add the meat.
                                                                                          4. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat.
                                                                                          5. Lower the heat and boil until the meat is tender, about 40 minutes.
                                                                                          6. Remove all the scum that rises to the surface.
                                                                                          7. Make a batter by mixing together the egg yolks, milk, flour, salt and baking powder.
                                                                                          8. Mix real good until the batter is about like cake batter.
                                                                                          9. Heat the bear fat or lard in a deep fryer to about 360 degrees.
                                                                                          10. Dip the pieces of skunk in the batter and then fry them in the deep fryer until golden brown.
                                                                                          11. Drain well and serve.

                                                                                                                                                                      When I was younger and still living in Germany, across from the house that we lived in, there was a german middle school that had two dumpsters behind it.
                                                                                                                                                                      the dumpsters were made out of hard plastic and one of them was full with paper. I threw a match in one of them and closed the lid thinking the match would go out. About 45 seconds later I saw smoking coming out of the sides of the dumpster so I decided to open it up and look. All the papers on the top were on fire and I was like fuck it and closed the lid again. A few seconds later the fire burned a hole in the top of the lid and the fire got really big.
                                                                                                                                                                      I ran home and watched from my hahahahahaha. the german police(Polizei sp?) showed up, fire trucks and all. the whole dumpster burned down and melted the one next to it as well.

                                                                                                                                                                      I was probably 11-12 years old at the time. Havent burned down anything else since.

                                                                                                                                                                              However from a personal perspective, the thing that I have regretted the most was probably the time an acquaintance lengthily tortured a frog for no reason and I didn't do anything to stop it (I was about 10 years old I think). Torturing someb<b></b>ody or something just to amuse yourself is nothing but pure evil.

                                                                                                                                                                                      This might not be the "worst" thing I've ever done, but I still feel horrible about it.

                                                                                                                                                                                      This January a really good friend of mine (lets call her Jenny) was having her 21st birthday party at her apartment. I've had a perma-crush on her since we've known each other in high school, but she won't have anything to do with me. We're "friends", really good ones, which is fine because she is cool as hell.

                                                                                                                                                                                      So at the party everyone gets good and smashed. Her best friend from childhood is in town (lets call her Kristen) and was giving me looks all night. Jenny leaves her apartment to go mack on her quasi-boyfriend. I, in all my wisdom, decided to have dirty nasty sex with Kristen in Jenny's bed. No condom. Came all over her sheets. Caused all her roommates to think I'm a sketchy bastard. General badness.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Things really haven't been the same since. Oh yea, I pissed on her bathroom floor, too.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      The worst thing I've ever done is when I was selling Kirby vacuum cleaners. I had a demo at a widow's home, I'll never forget her name, it was Blossom Everts. She was on social security and didn't even have carpeting anywhere in the house.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I did my demonstration and talked with her quite a bit, she was a lonely old woman, we got a lot of those in that business. She was an easy sale. At first she said she couldn't afford the system, but I did what I always do and persisted. I got her payments down to something like $8.50 a month and got her to sign a contract.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      The poor woman was so feeble that she couldn't even manage to put on the head of the cleaner, but she bought it anyway. I left that house feeling awful that I'd talked this poor old woman into something she clearly didn't need. That month I made more sales than anyone ever had in the history of the company in that state, and won a vacaction in Bermuda for the month's sales.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I never went back to visit Blossom, but thought of her often. This was about 30 yrs ago, so she's probably died by now, she was very old at the time, probably around 80.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I wish I could have put my competitive spirit aside just for that one day, it haunts me still
