Think even with all the drops and stuff to put in them I've used the new eyes a bit to much today. It's almost 1 am here. I'm grabbin my doggie, Chloe, and heading for the horizontal.

My eyes hurt too but I must keep working.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Keep those eyes lubed and moist always or they wont heal..

Use the antibiotic drops as directed till they are done, and for the next month or two keep using the artifical tears drops and never let your eyes dry..

This will speed up the healing.

And stay away from sad movies that make you cry for the next week or so.. The stress alone from crying could do damage..

Also dont be alarmed by any halo's at night.. For the most part the night vision comes back the slowest, and the halo effect gradually gets better. For many it never truely goes away, but it will be nothing like it is now.

                  Take care pk

The halos aren't bad at all. I paid extra for something called CustomVue which is supposed to help prevent that somewhat.

Did they have you wear goggles or something when you slept the first week?

I'm seeing great. When I went for my 24 hour check up they said I was seeing a bit better than most do after the first day. I can't wait to go back next week to see what I'm at.

The funniest thing is that everytime I go to get out of bed I reach for my glasses (always on my nightstand since I never wore my contacts to sleep).

Url below is not my doc's but it has good info on the Customvue stuff.

hard to say at this time because I'm only 4 days out. I put antibiotic drops and anti-inflammatory drops in my eyes 4 times a day along with artifical tears drops each hour or so for the first week. Doc said that if you follow the aftercare and make sure not to tire the eyes out too much, dryness shouldn't be a problem. He did suggest that since I sit in front of a computer screen so much that I keep artifical tears handy at all times and use them once or twice a day after everything is all healed. Never hurts to be overly cautious.

Believe me.. I was the biggiest 'fraidycat about getting this done. I've thought about it for years.. been in glasses/contacts since I was 11. Now everytime I open my eyes I wanna kick myself for not doing it sooner.
