    ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey (AP) -- Jennifer Lopez's mother won a $2.4 million jackpot while playing $1 slots in Atlantic City on Saturday night

    Guadalupe Lopez, 58, of New York, was playing a Wheel of Fortune-themed slot machine at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa when she hit for $2,421,291.76 just before 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the casino.

                                                                                              Rich people don't need more money, poor people need it. I'm all for poor people playing the lottery as long as they don't go overboard. A ticket or two a week isn't going to kill them. Sadly, most poor people I've known spend more than that on beer or cigarettes in one day. I'd rather they spend $10 a week on lottery tickets that might actually get them somewhere than to spend it on alcohol that is just going to make their situation worse.
