    anyone know anything about free goverment grants to start up a business?

    I'm trying to get around $20,000-$25,000 to start my custom wood working business. I need the money for tools, a shop, advertising, and some to live off of. I was just reading a website and it guarantees at least $25,000 in grants or your money back Sounds to easy to me it only cost $16 for the guide on how to find the grants. Any help would be much appreciated.

                  your better off searching on google, look for .gov listings the info is free and most of the time you buy a booklet with old information. The laws change every year and so does the amount the hand out.

                                  Are their gov't grants available? Yep. Can you *really* get one to start a business? Good luck! Most grants are for farmers and things that we need as a society to survive, but most people have no desire to do. If you want a business, you have to get it like all the other poor schmucks who have started them before you. Living on Ramen and working hard.

                                  Chalk "free gov't money to start your own business" up right next to the "Hi my name is Ex King wannahockalugie. I've been kicked out of my country and I need YOU to get my money for me".

                                      Yeah i think there is no one that wil help me out with funding. Just all the promotion all over the net and tv for goverment money makes you wanna research it to see if its possible. I can actually start up with $12,000 minimum and make at least $60k my first year without a doubt. The second year would be more than that.

                                      I know the trade extremely well and very confidant about my earnings potential.
