    I was driving along in my dump truck, minding my own business...when these guys in a white van start to chase me! As you can see from the video, I had no place to go...

                                                                      Roadside barriers do a hell of a lot of the killing on roads. They
                                                                      need to be flexible and absorb impact. However to save money
                                                                      on maintenance they use solid walls. You should see what
                                                                      happens if you hit them at 45deg. Cars jump about 20 feet in the
                                                                      air before slamming down.

                                                                      Flexible barriers are the go, however everyone is looking at the
                                                                      Swiss lead, and I'm sure on icey roads there aren't too many bike
                                                                      riders. The cable barriers they use will take a bike riders head
                                                                      clean off.
