hey, this contest should be ended on the 31st, today is 1st of April, and in combination with the 1 post she only has but also several other logo contests died in the past, its logical to get a bit of a strange feeling if somebody does not reply on his/her contest...
besides, i find it quite rude if a contest starter does not wait with picking a winner until the contest ends and not let anyone know in here.I design logo's.

PlatinumPimp is right, there have been a lot of contest on GFY that have just up and died.
I was going to enter this one back when it started, but I saw no further participation in it from the contest creator. Not even any subsequent postings to indicate in the slight what the person had been liking so far.
My guess is SueLynn didn't see anything she liked and probably did seek out a design elsewhere. Regardless to what the story is, the contest should still be honoured.
Its like that previous GFY logo design contest, where the guy running it had everyone competing against a off forum design firm.

Hey everyone!!! Guess who?? yeah its ME! So since everyone is bitter and mad at how irresponsible I am, let me take the chance to apologize to eveyone for not keeping everyone up to date. So just because I havent posted another reply up since my first one, doesn't mean I am not checking the site everyday and night. And no one needs me to hold their hand along the way, I don't need to keep reminding you what I initially asked for, and I dont' need to keep telling you i'm here. So for those who commented on my seriousness of the business, has no idea of any business, but to think no further than their eyes can take them. And yes the contest did end on the 31st. I didn't think I needed to explain the logistics of my business over this site, but I DO need to consolidate with the other memebers of the business before they I can post up the winner. So, with that said, hang in tight if you're not already waiting to tear my head off, and thanks for the posting if have already given up on me. But thanks to EVRYONE who posted their entries up, there were a lot of amazing designs. I'm loving the work on this site! As always, patience is a virtue... looking forward for the results. But indeed a nice comment to the designers would be a good gesture. Because we all spend some time and effort in our works and I personally would like to received comments or critisim, ten yrs in the designing world and always challenging to see how the market moves, I'v been working for corporate, adult and many more different markets. It is nice to start a contest to see what is in the market before you begin, well...

I really don't believe she meant to screw over any of you that posted entries. I asked her to close the contest before I agreed to take on her project, however the thread had sunk and the GFY search function was down.

logos are an intrical part of corporate branding. when you're talking about a logo that is going to represent a company and will be seen everywhere and identified AS YOUR COMPANY'S SYMBOL, you need to raise the bar and pay a designer a good amount of money.
i highly doubt Mcdonalds, burger king, etc.. got their logos for any less than 1500 bucks.
